This month, we are thrilled to welcome Michael Puttick to the Complete Construction team! To mark this occasion, we wanted to explore the path that led Michael to become our new Construction Director - where his career started, the various projects he has worked on, and everything in-between.
Michael’s career started in 2003 when he worked as a plumber and gas engineer for Wulvern Housing, a Cheshire-based housing association with over 5,000 homes across the borough. As part of this role, he was involved in repairs and maintenance, making internal improvements to kitchens and bathrooms, refurbishing void properties, and installing gas and central heating systems.
Michael progressed from this role to become Clerk of Works at the same company, and he remained in this role for almost 12 years. During this time, he ensured that all work was carried out to the highest standards whilst adhering to specifications and schedules. He also spent a lot of time on-site, becoming familiar with the various technical aspects of inspecting ongoing developments.
In 2015, Michael joined Form Contractors Ltd as a Contracts Manager. He was responsible for managing the Contracts team and assisting the Managing Director with running the business and multiple projects.
Michael then spent nine months as a Project Manager for Redbridge Interiors before joining Workspace Design and Build in 2017. He spent over five years in this role, during which time he progressed from Contracts Manager to Associate Director.
During his career thus far, he has worked on many projects with values ranging from £45k to £9 million. Many of these were social housing projects to provide affordable housing to local communities, like the developments we work on at Complete Construction.
The wealth of experience Michael has gained during his time in all of these roles makes him the perfect candidate to help us deliver over 300 units per year.
