Fareshare are the UK’s national network of charitable food re-distributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. Fareshare take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to more than 10,500 frontline charities and community group.

WHAT DO FARESHARE DO?

The food which Fareshare redistribute is nutritious and good to eat. It reaches charities across the UK, including school breakfast clubs, older people’s lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. Every week Fareshare provide enough food to create almost 1 million meals for vulnerable people.

WHAT IS OUR FARESHARE STRATEGY?

We as an organisation have put together a strategy with the guidance of Fareshare to provide school meals in the local areas surrounding our development sites. Both Alderley Group and Complete Construction will donate enough monies to support 5 groups split up as 3 schools, providing breakfast meals and 2 community groups which in turn provides daily food to the families which then provides after school meals for the children. Alderley Group and Complete Construction believe that any company should leave a lasting, positive and supportive impression on the local areas in which we operate in. As a group, our companies will continue to increase our commitment and donations with Fareshare as we continue our expansion in the housing market.
